The 44th Annual Member Guest golf tournament is a three day event that will be played from July 21st-July 23rd, 2022.

 

Again this year, we will be hosting a welcoming 9-Hole Par 3 Contest at Devils Knob on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022.  The Par 3 Contest, a better ball net format, will commence with a 4pm shotgun start. Following the Par 3 Contest, there will be a social hour with the Pros at Devils Knob.

 

Optional events for the 2022 Member Guest include Flight Pools and the Open Horserace.

 

Rounds One and Two will begin with a 10:00am shotgun start at Devils Knob on Thursday, July 21st, 2022. Round Three will begin with a 10:00am shotgun start on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 at Stoney Creek followed by the Open Horserace. Stoney Creek will also host Rounds Four and Five with a 10am shotgun start on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022.

 

Following the final round, flight winners will participate in the Championship Shootout to determine the 2022 Wintergreen Member Guest Champion. The awards reception will take place immediately following the completion of the Championship Shootout. The Stoney Creek Bar & Grill will provide an open bar during the awards reception.

 

 

Conditions of the Competition

 

Eligibility: Two person teams consisting of current All Resort or Extended Family members and their guests with current USGA handicap indexes. Each team must consist of two men or two women. Teams will be placed in flights based on total team handicap indexes. Handicaps as of July 18th will be used throughout the tournament.

 

Format: All teams will play handicapped matches for the five rounds against other teams in their respective flights. Each round will be played using the Four Ball Match Play format. The recommended USGA handicap allowance of 90% will be used during matches.

 

Tees of Play:   Men 59 & Under – White Tees

Men 60 & Older – Gold Tees

Women 59 & Under – Red Tees

Women 60 & Over – Red Tees at Devils Knob, Green Tees at Stoney Creek

 

 

Prizes:             Trophies and Gift Certificates will be distributed to all flight winners.

 

Cost:    Team Fee of $679 – Includes all tournament fees (Practice Round, Food & Beverage, FootJoy Apparel Package, and all Golf Fees)

Spouse Team Fee of $579 – Includes all tournament fees (Practice Round, Food & Beverage, FootJoy Apparel Package, and all Golf Fees)

 

Entry Deadline: All sign ups must be sent in by June 13th, 2022.

 

Cancellation Policy: If the minimum requirement of 24 teams is not met, the tournament is subject to cancellation.
